Agreed that Gov Brown needs positive messaging as well as threat of cuts to pass his K-12 initiative this November. Explain how re-alignment works, why this is a benefit, how CalWORKS and other programs must be funded in order to support education. For example, while Our Children Our Future addresses low-income kids' needs *at the school site*, how are they provided for if cash assistance to impoverished families is cut? If Governor Brown's initiative has the better solution for this, then he must make the case.
