




The earthquake, tsunami, and resulting Fukushima nuclear power plant near-meltdown have spurred Japan to take up "integrated learning," where students in that country learn about nuclear and sustainable forms of power, emergency rescue, and leadership qualities in case another natural disaster of that magnitude strikes again.
