




Parents Across America leaders met with the Dept of Ed recently to urge the DOE to change its policy direction away from Race to the Top, competitive funding, & over-reliance on high-stakes testing. Instead, PAA members clearly stated they wanted policies to focus on proven ways to improve parent engagement and raise student achievement, like small class sizes and a prominent and authentic role for parents in school governance.
